-Kacee Preston is running our tennis program–she would like to have the classes posted according to skill levels, then she will group them into appropriate classes according to how many we have sign up, and will call the parents and let them know days and times of their lessons.
-Lindsay received around 35 applications for employment and is going through them–she will start the hiring process soon.
-Precision is coming next week to open the pool, then we will schedule the inspection with the city.
-Bryan says there is a workers’ comp permit to renew, and a food service permit to renew. He is working on both of them.
-Spring clean up is scheduled for May 10th from 8:00am – 10:00am. We need member participation. You have two options this year:
1–show up to help at the Spring clean-up.
2–pay the $30 fee if you’re unable or unwilling. This $30 will go to the commercial company that services the maintenance of the grounds and building. If you opt to pay the $30, you can pay that at the front desk the first time you come to swim.
Please remember–we are all owners of the club–not customers. Everyone needs to do their part.
-Just a reminder, transfer fees are equal to one year’s dues. Because dues went up this year, transfer fees are now $750.
-discussion was held about members having a certificate of ownership….some have them, some don’t. To be official, we should each have one, and it should be transferred when sold–kind of like a car title. It was suggested to put together a welcome packet for new members –pool rules, certificate of ownership, obligation to serve on the board, etc.
-Tony is heading over this week to start checking on the building and turning a few things on like water, secondary water, etc.
-We are going to start heavily advertising for pool/tennis lessons this week–signage, social media, maybe Peach Jar? Morgan is going to get in touch with Shanelle about the signs she had printed last year. Please follow us on Instagram @northcanyonswim . REMINDERS:
-Swim/tennis lesson sign-ups are May 1st at 9:00am for members, and May 6th at 9:00am for non-members
-Invoices were sent out on April 1st. Find them in your emails. Please pay by May 1st to avoid being charged late fees.
-We still need board members. It is not a hard or time-consuming job. Please come serve on the board!
-Opening day will be May 24th!
