-There are some concerns on the replastering job that took place last year–it is discolored in some areas. We are meeting with Precision (the company that did the work) on May 20th to discuss options. The work is under warranty. More details after Lindsay meets with them.

-The post office is sometimes lazy on sorting….if you’ve mailed a payment to our PO Box and it has returned to sender, make sure you are addressing it as PO Box 753 and not just as #753. The PO Box address is as follows:

North Canyon Swim and Tennis Club
20 S. Main Street
PO Box 753
Bountiful, UT 84010

-Because of some of the issues that have come up with the post office, we are extending a bit of a grace period on late fees. If you still haven’t paid, get it in to us in the next week to avoid the late fee. The pool opens this Saturday, May 24th, and another option for payment is to bring a check to the front desk.

If you didn’t come to the Spring clean-up, please remember to add an additional $30 to your payment.
If you’ve already paid your dues and didn’t come to the Spring clean-up, please remember to pay $30 to the front desk the first time you come to swim.
If you’ve held off on paying because you are trying to sell your membership, your dues are late, and you will be assessed the late fee.

-Spring clean-up went well–it was great to meet some new members and their families. A couple of new trees were planted on the north side of the pool deck where the one older tree was taken out.

-Tony is encouraged with the state of the building and grounds–things look great, other than the discoloration of the new plaster, which is being addressed.

-Tennis and swim sign-ups are going really well. The first couple of sessions are full.

-Morgan has had trouble with our signs (the ones that advertise our swim and tennis lessons) being taken down. If anyone has or knows of good, high-traffic areas where one can be posted and it won’t be removed, please let us know.

-There may be a need to replace the grills. As the season progresses and they get used, we will address the necessity.

-Wacky Wednesdays will take place approximately twice monthly this season, and family socials about once per month. More details coming.
